At our organisation, we prioritise the core FamilyCare values that inspire our caring and compassionate staff in all their endeavours. We believe in empowering our employees by offering continuous growth and upskilling opportunities to ensure their success and fulfilment in making a positive impact.

Putting Families First (PFF) is a pilot program in the Goulburn region, led by Rumbalara in partnership with FamilyCare, The Bridge Youth Service and OzChild.

We now have a full-time opportunity to join FamilyCare as a Lead Practitioner. This position will predominately be based at Rumbalara with fellow PFF colleagues, but will also remain connected and involved with FamilyCare as their home agency.

How You’ll Make a Difference

The PFF program provides an intensive integrated service to families where there has been involvement with the justice and/or child protection systems in the past 12 months, either with women or young people. The service will be highly responsive and flexible to each family’s needs. Service responses are led by a team of Lead Family Practitioners and Community Connectors, backed by an integrated interdisciplinary team who are employed across the partner agencies. PFF aims to keep families together safely by improving relationships, connecting in with community and empowering children, young people and families to reach their full potential.
